About the Ringwood PBA 5k Run

The course starts at a middle school, turns onto Sloatsburg Road, continues out to Greenwood Lake Turnpike, and comes back the same way. It is an out-and-back on open road, so the route is straightforward and you always know where you are. After the main race, a kiddie dash follows on the same grounds.

The race is organized by the local police officers' association, with proceeds supporting community charities and scholarships. The start and finish are at the school, so there is a central gathering spot before and after.
