About the Ring Out the Old - 5K, 10K, Half Marathon
The course runs through Woodley Park and into the Lake Balboa area, crossing grass and passing through an underroad tunnel before looping the lake. Routes are on open shared paths, so you share the space with regular park visitors. The terrain is mixed, grass and paved, and the layout means all distances share the same basic loop, with longer races simply repeating it.
Parking is free in the lot off Woodley Ave, with more street parking nearby. Packet pickup opens before the first wave. The finish line has water, electrolytes, and snacks, and staff can hold your bag at the registration tent if you need gear check.
