About the Riggs CAT Quarry Jingle Rocks 5k
The course runs along the top of a working limestone quarry, which is closed down for race day. The terrain is industrial and open, with views out over the Ouachita National Forest stretching in every direction. There is nothing quite like it on a typical race calendar, and the setting does the talking without any help.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a coffee bar and tap room in Mena. Race morning includes check-in and same-day registration before the start. After the race, the quarry site hosts rock painting, face painting, vendor booths, and the chance to get photos on heavy machinery. An after-party continues in Mena at the same taproom that hosts pickup.
