About the 13th Annual Revolutionary Run For Veterans 5K
The course starts at Fort Hardy Park and heads out along a historic canal tow path, crossing over to a riverside park before looping through an open field and then onto a nature trail along the Hudson River. The return follows the same tow path back, so the footing shifts between paved path and softer trail. It is largely flat with no real climbs.
The Saratoga County American Legion Posts set up hamburgers, hotdogs, and refreshments at the finish. There is also a shorter kids run held right after the main race, with no entry fee for that portion.
