About the Revenge of the Red Baron Half Marathon and 5K

The half marathon here is genuinely hard. The course drops off the college campus down into South Corning, then climbs all the way back up. It is a looped route, so you know exactly what is coming on the return, which is either motivating or demoralizing depending on the day. The 5K shares the start and finish area on campus.

Packet pickup and same-day registration both happen race morning in the Commons at Corning Community College, well before the gun. Parking is in the college lots. The post-race gathering is also in the Commons, with food available, including vegetarian options, and an awards ceremony for top finishers and age group winners.
