About the Resolution Run - Fort Collins

The course runs through residential streets in Fort Collins, starting and finishing at a local recreation center. Runners share the road with any traffic they meet, so the route follows normal traffic rules throughout. The real character of the evening comes from the darkness: glow sticks go out by the bucketful, and the field tends to show up in lit-up gear.

The race runs after sunset on New Year's Eve, so the start area has more of a neighborhood block-party feel than a morning race. Hot cocoa is part of the post-race spread, and the recreation center sometimes offers open skate time after the race wraps up, with rentals available on-site.
