About the Resolution 5K
The course starts and finishes at The Forum on South Main Street, looping through Airport Road and Red Acres Road before returning north. The roads are generally flat with a straightforward shape, so you always know where you are. It is a New Year's Day race put on by the local running club as a thank-you to area runners, with all proceeds going to Rowan Helping Ministries.
Donations of canned goods and shoes are welcomed at the start area. Results are posted online after the race, including finish-line video. The Forum serves as both the start and finish, so you return to the same spot where you began.
