About the 12th Annual Resolution 5K and 1-Mile Run

The course runs along the Virginia Beach boardwalk, out and back from the park at the center of the action. It is flat pavement the whole way, with the ocean alongside you. Both distances share the same start and finish, and there is an aid station with water at the far turnaround point for the longer race.

Packet pickup happens at a local running store in the days before New Year's Day, with race-morning pickup available at the park stage as well. After the race, there is a post-race party at a nearby Irish pub, though the organizers note the location can change.
