The course winds through country roads around the town reservoir, with water views for a good stretch of the route. The terrain rolls rather than flattens, and the roads curve enough that you rarely see far ahead. It runs a touch long, worth knowing if you are chasing a personal best. The race benefits veteran support organizations through the local VFW post.
