About the Rescue Run
The Rescue Run starts and finishes at the Norris-Penrose Events Center, sending runners out onto the dirt trails of Bear Creek Park East. Expect icy patches, especially on wooden bridges and in shaded stretches near the creek. Traction devices on your shoes are worth considering depending on recent weather.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the events center, and there are two large parking lots on site. The southern lot closes before the start to make room for kids races, so arriving early and heading to the northern lot will save you the scramble. Port-a-potties are on site, though lines form before the start, so budget extra time.
