The course starts at the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities building on Windfall Road. The chip-timed distance runs through the area while a shorter untimed walk offers an easier option. Costumes are encouraged, which gives the morning a Halloween-parade feel rather than a purely competitive one. The race benefits RePlay for Kids, an organization that repairs and distributes equipment to children with disabilities free of charge.
