The race starts and finishes at The Children's Park, a space dedicated to families grieving the loss of a child. Packet pickup is held the afternoon before the race at Allison's House on Dobbs Street, on the back patio. That same street is also where the kids' dash takes place on race day, so the block around Dobbs is the center of activity.
