About the 16th Annual Reindeer Run/Walk

The course runs on a wetlands trail, so the ground underfoot is natural and the surroundings are open. Mile markers are posted along the route, and there is a water stop and restroom partway out. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and strollers are fine too, though both line up toward the back at the start. Holiday costume is encouraged.

Parking is at a nearby school, with a one-way flow in and out, and street parking lines the surrounding neighborhood as well. Before the race, there is coffee, hot chocolate, and a chance to take photos with Santa. Bib pickup is available at the local parks office on the days leading up to the race, with race-morning pickup as a backup.
