About the Reindeer Run 5k
The course runs through Crump Paris Park, a local green space in Carthage. It is an untimed run, so there is a clock at the finish to glance at as you cross, but nobody is tracking chips or posting results. The crowd skews festive, with plenty of ugly sweaters and holiday costumes in the mix. Proceeds go to the Smith County High School cheerleading program.
Bib pickup happens race morning at the park, closing out shortly before the start. The event runs rain or shine, and entry fees are nonrefundable, so if weather becomes a factor, the organizers treat your registration as a donation.
