About the Reindeer Run 5K 2026
The Reindeer Run rolls through downtown Wheaton on a winter morning, and the crowd leans hard into the holiday costume spirit. Santa hats and antlers are the norm rather than the exception, so showing up in regular running gear puts you in the minority. The race is chip-timed, with overall winners announced at the finish and age group results sent out afterward.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at a community center, with a second window race morning near the start area at a local history museum. Both spots are in downtown Wheaton, so neither requires much of a detour. Post-race refreshments are on hand after you finish.

The Reindeer Run 5K 2026 has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
