About the Redondo Beach Super Bowl Sunday 10k/5k
The course runs along the waterfront, passing the historic pier, the marina at King Harbor, and a large whale mural painted on a building near the water. You get ocean breezes the whole way and views of the Pacific. The route is flat and coastal, and the atmosphere comes from the setting rather than anything manufactured.
Packet pickup is held at the Health and Fitness Expo, which runs the day before and again on race morning. The expo is also the start and finish area, set up at the marina. Arrive well ahead of your start, as the event draws a large crowd. Skates, rollerblades, bicycles, scooters, and dogs are not allowed on the course.
