About the Red Wolf Rampage
The course runs through a wildlife sanctuary outside of town, and the terrain shifts as you go. Early on, the route follows waterways through wetlands and open fields. Near the end of the shorter option, the trail passes alongside large animal enclosures, which is unlike anything on most local race courses. The longer option adds a serious climb that hits hard and fast.
You cannot park at the sanctuary itself. Shuttles run from a spot next to Union Cemetery, on the corner of First and Downey, with parking on Downey Street. Packet pickup and in-person registration both happen race morning, so arriving early gives you time to sort everything before the start.
