About the Red Oak Race Fest
The Red Oak Race Fest is part road race, part beer mile, part costume contest, all happening at a lager haus in Whitsett. The road race goes first, then the beer mile takes over. The beer mile follows a drink-then-run format, repeated across several laps, with drinking confined to a designated exchange zone.
The costume contest is open to anyone registered for either race, so it runs alongside the whole morning. Cash prizes go to top overall finishers in the road race, and the beer mile winner takes home a pack of Red Oak beer. You must be of legal drinking age to enter the beer mile, and a designated driver is required.
