About the 16th Annual Red Devil 5K 2026

The course runs on the same grass cross-country terrain that the high school team trains on, with a bit of pavement mixed in and the final stretch on the track. It rolls rather than sitting flat, and the loop design means spectators can watch from one spot and catch runners as they come around each time. The whole thing benefits the school's cross-country program.

The race finishes in time to catch the Avon Grove Homecoming Parade and surrounding festivities, so there is reason to hang around after crossing the finish. Post-race refreshments are on hand. Packet pickup and start are at the middle school, so everything stays on one campus.
