About the Ready, Set, GLOW! 5k Run & Walk
The course runs along the cart paths of a golf club after dark, which makes for a genuinely odd and pleasant experience. Runners carry glow necklaces and bracelets, and lanterns line the way, so the whole field moves through the course in scattered pools of light. It is a road surface underfoot, flat and easy to follow, and the nighttime setting is the whole point.
Registration is open on the evening of the event itself, with the race starting after dark and an awards ceremony following. Water and snacks are available throughout. All proceeds go to the Honey Brook Food Pantry.
