About the RC and Moonpie Downhill Mile
The course runs downhill the whole way along the main road through campus, starting outside the President's House and finishing at the Esso Club. A cannon sends runners off at the start, and there is a mandatory MoonPie and cola stop partway through before the final push to the finish.
Check-in happens at the President's House on race morning. At the finish, another cola is waiting, and the Esso Club is right there for the post-race gathering.
