About the Raven Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Both distances run out-and-back from St. Benedict Catholic School, so the course is simple to follow and retraces the same stretch on the return. There is water at the turnaround. The whole thing doubles as the opening event of the school's German Festival, so the atmosphere leans toward a neighborhood gathering more than a typical race morning.

After you finish, the festival is already going. German sausage and beer are on hand at the post-race party, and the crowd tends to stay for it. Lederhosen and dirndls are not unheard of at the start line.
