About the Randolph County Young Life Winter Sprinter 5k
The course runs through downtown Asheboro, starting and finishing at Bicentennial Park. It is a road race on city streets, so the terrain is paved and relatively flat. Christmas attire is encouraged, so expect a festive mix of costumes on the course. The race benefits a local Young Life chapter, with proceeds going toward sending kids to camp.
Packet pickup is available the day before at the Young Life office, with a midday window. If you miss that, race-morning pickup opens at the park well before the start. Online registration closes a couple of days before the race, but in-person signup is also available at pickup and on race morning.
