About the Ram Council Foundation CD Fun Run
The race takes place on the high school track in New Canaan, a rubberized surface with no pavement or uneven ground. The format is unusual: rather than covering a set distance, runners and walkers see how many laps they can complete within a fixed window of time, moving in separate lanes while music plays. Top finishers in the adult races earn awards for distance covered.
Early bib pickup is available at the public library in town on the two evenings before the race, which is the easier option if you want to skip the morning rush. Race-day pickup opens at the track well before the first wave starts. Registration closes a short time before each wave goes off, so arriving early matters.
