The race starts and finishes at the Flying Saucer in Sundance Square, putting you in the middle of downtown Fort Worth before the neighborhood is fully awake. The course is a road run through that area, and the Oktoberfest theme is front and center: lederhosen and dirndls are common on the start line, and the whole thing leans into the Bavarian-meets-Texas premise without taking itself too seriously.
The post-race party is the main event after you cross the finish. Rahr beer is on hand, and the crowd sticks around for it. Packet pickup details and parking specifics are not something the organizer spelled out, but Sundance Square has several garages nearby if you know the neighborhood.
