About the Raging River Relay
The course follows the Centennial Trail along the Spokane River, moving through riverside forest and over rolling terrain into the city. Teams split the distance into legs, so each runner covers a portion before handing off to a teammate. The trail is well-marked, and volunteers are posted at the exchange points. It is a point-to-point shape, so there is no doubling back.
The field is capped at a small number of teams, which keeps the exchanges from feeling chaotic. Runners without a full group can register solo and get matched with a team. The start is near Riverside State Park.
