About the Racin' for Bacon 4 Miler and Pup Strut
The course runs through Nomahgen Park and is flat throughout, so most people carry a solid pace from start to finish. There is a shorter walk option for dogs, which draws a crowd of four-legged participants alongside the runners. The whole morning leans into a pre-Thanksgiving theme, with bacon cooked fresh at the finish line.
The race goes on regardless of weather, so what you wear depends on what the morning brings. The organizers ask that you bring an unwrapped toy to support a holiday toy drive. Same-day pickup and registration are both available at the park.
