About the Race to the Finn! 2026
This run raises money for a scholarship fund honoring a child who was set to attend Isthmus Montessori Academy before he passed away from brain cancer. That origin gives the morning a weight that most fun runs do not carry. Several distance options mean families and serious runners show up alongside each other, and the closing ceremonies happen at Burrows Park Shelter.
The event is structured with a welcome and a group photo before anyone starts running, which sets the tone. Pickup and registration happen on-site the morning of the race, so there is no separate pre-race errand to run.
