The course runs through Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve, crossing open prairie farmland before dropping down toward seaside bluffs along Admiralty Inlet. The terrain mixes dirt trails, paved paths, and grassy stretches, so expect some variety underfoot. On a clear day the views stretch across the water to the Olympic Mountains and the Cascades, with the occasional ferry passing below.
