About the Race for the Race
This race is organized by the Ankobea Society and NationHouse as a tribute to Tubman, with proceeds going toward NationHouse programs. The event has a community fundraiser at its core, so the morning feels less like a race and more like a gathering around a shared purpose.
The start area features a warmup session, snacks, coffee, and activities for children, so it is a reasonable place to bring the whole family. Virtual participation is also an option for supporters who cannot make it in person.
