The course runs through Hallock State Park on off-road terrain, passing beaches, hidden ponds, and stretches of forest. Underfoot you will find a mix of loose gravel and grass, so road shoes are a gamble. The route is mostly flat, which makes it manageable for walkers and runners alike, and strollers are welcome.
