The course runs through Conservation Park, a wetland area the city actively manages to rehydrate marshes using reclaimed water. Trails here are well-groomed, with boardwalks over the marsh sections and some paved stretches mixed in. The route is gentle enough for strollers, with volunteers posted along the way to keep everyone on track. Roots are sparse but worth watching for.
