About the Race For Hope 5K and 1 Mile
The course runs through the grounds of a health organization's headquarters and spills onto an adjacent community college campus, so the route has an institutional feel: wide paths, flat terrain, and open space. It is the kind of morning where the cause is visible, with signage and volunteers connected to organ and tissue donation awareness.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race at the same headquarters building where the event is based. After the finish, there is a snack and drink spread, and a beer garden for those who want to stick around.
