About the Race for A Blessing

This race raises money for the Blessing House, a shelter in nearby Lorain that supports children and families in crisis. It starts and finishes at a parish school, so the surroundings are familiar neighborhood ground rather than a park or trail. Strollers and dogs are both welcome on the course.

Packet pickup and race-morning registration happen at the school before the start, so there is no separate trip the day before. Awards cover overall and age-group finishers, with categories spread across a wide range of ages.
