About the 5th Annual Quantico 24-Hour Walk, Run & Relay
This is a round-the-clock charity event held entirely within the Town of Quantico, raising awareness for critically wounded service members and military families. Participants choose between a short loop and a longer one, both staying within town and not crossing the railroad tracks. The Masonic Lodge serves as the central hub, staying open the full duration so runners and walkers can come and go throughout the night.
A pizza party runs at midnight and a pancake breakfast follows in the early morning hours. The event opens with a ceremonial first lap together, and awards cover both total mileage and speedwork across several distances, with gift certificates courtesy of a local running shop. Packet pickup is available the evening before at that same shop in Fredericksburg, with race-morning pickup on site as well.
