About the Quack Attack 5k

The course starts and finishes next to Big Spring Memorial Park in downtown Athens, running through terrain that has a few gentle rolls but nothing that will stop you mid-stride. It is USATF-certified, so the distance is exact. Dogs on leash and strollers are welcome at the back. The race benefits local wetland conservation through the Athens Ducks Unlimited chapter.

Packet pickup the evening before is at a local outdoor sporting goods store. You can also grab your bib at the park on race morning. Parking nearby is free. Registration opens on race morning as well, so showing up without a bib ahead of time is an option.
