About the PVSchools Community 5K Fun Run/Walk
The course starts and finishes on the football field at Horizon High School, sending runners out through a back gate and onto neighborhood streets. The route heads east, turns up toward Greenway Road, then winds back through a residential grid before returning to the field. It is a street course with a few turns to keep you honest, and a couple of aid stations are spaced out along the way.
A health fair runs alongside the race, and there is a kids dash before the main start. Water and snacks are available before and after. Pets are not allowed on the premises, though service animals are welcome. Arrive with time to spare, as the race starts promptly.
