About the Puyallup Trail Challenge
The format here is unusual: you run a trail loop, then drive yourself to the next park, then run again, repeating across three different Puyallup parks as the morning unfolds. Each leg gets harder than the last, so the challenge is as much about pacing early as it is about grinding through the final trail. Terrain varies from park to park rather than building on a single course.
The event is cupless, so bring your own hydration. The RaceJoy app is required for safety tracking and must stay active on your phone throughout the day. The race starts at Riverwalk Trail behind a Fred Meyer on North Meridian, then moves to Wildwood Park, then to Clarks Creek South for the final leg.
