About the Put-In-Bay 5k

The course starts outside a bar and grill in the center of Put-In-Bay and winds through the island from there. It is a small island, so the surroundings shift quickly, from the busy waterfront village to quieter historic streets. Dogs and strollers are welcome, though both are asked to start toward the back.

Packet pickup happens in a park across the street from the start, both the evening before and on race morning. The ferry over to the island offers a discount for race participants, so it is worth mentioning the race when you buy your ticket at the booth.
