About the Puppy Creek Fire Department “Run for a Cure” 5K
The course starts and finishes behind a medical campus, heading out through the parking lot and onto a pair of roads that take you past a church before reaching a turnaround at a highway intersection. Law enforcement handles traffic at the key points, so you are not left guessing about cars. The route is an out-and-back, which means you pass the same scenery twice.
The start area is on the back lawn of the medical campus, with parking on site. Sign-in opens well before the start, giving you time to settle in. The race is self-timed, so bring whatever you use to track your own run. Strollers are welcome on the course; pets, bikes, and scooters are not.
