About the Pumpkin Run/Walk

The course starts in front of an elementary school and heads out through the surrounding streets on a flat, out-and-back route. You turn around partway out and retrace your path back to the school, so there are no surprises in the second half. The race benefits a local Boy Scout troop, and every registrant goes home with a pumpkin donated by a local farm.

Packet pickup happens at the school on race morning before the start. Post-race, there are door prize drawings, though you need to stick around to be eligible.
