About the Pumpkin Run and (Free Kid Mile Run)

The course runs along a road that skirts Pike Lake, then ducks through the Beyer Farm trail before coming back out. The terrain shifts underfoot as you move between road and trail, so there is a little variety to it. After finishing, there is apple cider and a chance to pick out a pumpkin. Kids can run a separate shorter route and choose their own pumpkin at the end.

Parking is near the campground and the beach area by Pike Lake. Bibs and other items are picked up the morning of the race, with day-of registration available that morning for those who had not pre-registered.
