About the Pulse Walk: Penny Per Step Challenge
The course runs along the Indian Creek Greenway, a paved path that passes through a disc golf area near the Creekwood community in Madison. The walk is tied to cancer survivorship, and the atmosphere at the pavilion reflects that: families spread out on the grass with chairs and coolers, cheering on participants as they pass. Music and sponsor activities are part of the morning.
Parking is inside the Creekwood community entrance, with access off Slaughter Road. Registered participants receive detailed directions by email ahead of race day. After finishing, the pavilion green space serves as the gathering point, with food and activities planned around the finish area.
