About the PTC New Year's Day 2027 5K
The course starts at the entrance to the McReynolds Athletic Complex, a county sports facility in Yorktown. The route is set among athletic fields, and a walker division with on-site judges runs alongside the main race, so the field is a mix of paces from the start. Proceeds go to the high school cross country and track program.
Bib pickup and race-day registration both happen near the athletic fields inside the complex. Parking is right there at that end of the facility, with additional overflow spots at the far fields. The awards ceremony follows the race, covering overall, age group, and walker division placements.
