About the PRHS XC Alumni Race
The course runs on the trails behind a community school, the same trails the current cross country team trains on. It is a genuine trail run through the park, not a road race with a grassy start. The setup puts alumni back on familiar ground, running against the students who use those paths now.
After the race, there is a barbecue and a kickball game at the high school. The kids run first, then the main race goes off, so families with younger children have something to do from the start of the morning.
