About the Prefix Charity 5K Fun Run & Car Show
The course runs on the Clinton River Trail, right next to the Prefix headquarters. The shorter distance turns around and comes back on the same stretch of trail, while the longer route continues further along it. Expect a paved, shaded path through a wooded corridor, the kind of surface that works for most paces and most footwear. The finish runs through the car show, which is a nice touch.
The event has a patriotic theme, and food trucks and an ice cream truck are on site after the race. There is also a beer tent and a live band. The car show runs alongside the post-race area, so there is plenty to linger over once you are done.
