About the Powerhouse Thanksgiving Road Race
The course has a reputation as one of the faster routes in the area, which draws runners who want to push the pace on Thanksgiving morning. It starts from a gym parking lot, so the surface is road the whole way, and the terrain is flat enough that people talk about it as a place to run a good time.
Bib pickup is available at the gym the couple of days before the race, with an early-morning window on race day for anyone who could not get there ahead of time. The race benefits a local kids camp and draws enough attention that it has been covered on a local TV news channel.
