About the Powerade Panama City Beach Marathon
The course runs along the beach road in Panama City Beach, out and back, so you see the water on both legs. The route is not closed to traffic, and you run with the flow rather than against it. Cars are sparse that time of year, but they are there. The start and finish are both at Pier Park, with water and fruit at the line.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Dave and Buster's inside Pier Park, and race-morning pickup is available at Margaritaville's main deck as a backup. After you finish, Margaritaville hosts a party with complimentary gumbo and beer for runners who show their bib.
