About the Pounding the Pavement for Pink Races

The course starts on River Road and works through downtown before climbing past the historical society and the library. The hills come in the middle, then the route opens up onto a long flat stretch to the finish. Streets are decorated with pink, banners hang throughout town honoring people affected by breast cancer, and the neighborhoods along the way tend to draw spectators.

Parking is not available close to the start area, but free shuttle service runs from several schools nearby. Streets around the course close early on race morning, so arriving with extra time matters. Packet pickup has a few options, including shipping, so check which applies to you before race day.
