About the Polka Pace Race
The course runs through downtown Havana on certified roads, dipping into Riverfront Park before winding back along historic brick streets to Main Street. It is a genuine neighborhood tour where you feel the texture of an older town underfoot. The route is flat enough to move quickly but interesting enough that you are looking around.
Packet pickup happens race morning on Main Street, so there is no separate trip the day before. After you finish, breakfast is available for purchase nearby. The race is part of Havana's Oktoberfest weekend, so the streets around the finish area have more going on than a typical race morning.

The Polka Pace Race has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
